Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (Joe Chappelle, 1995)

Some of these endless slasher sequels can be really cool and fun to watch if (a) they keep story simple and (b) have good gory murders. This one has complicated story (involving some Satanist cult crap etc) that doesn’t make any sense and killings are totally predictable and not really gruesome.

Body count ends up at nine individual killings and there’s also a massacre inside operating room where you can’t see shit.

But it was nice to see our good old friend Donald Pleasence. This was his last role and movie is dedicated to his memory. Which is nice and I’ll give this flick an extra point because of it.

3/10
