Decent, routine studio melodrama with
Dietrich, Robinson and Raft love triangle. Checked it out because I’ve read
that during the shoot both leading men were fighting (literally) over Mrs.
Dietrich’s attention and wondered if any of this hostility can be seen in the
finished product. Couldn’t see anything of it, but that’s probably because I
was just staring at Marlene. What a dame she was!
